Common Questions
The course is structured into 6 levels: Starter, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level has a study period of 10 weeks plus 3 weeks of holiday, giving a total course duration of up to 80 weeks (60 weeks of study and 20 weeks of holidays).
Students commence at the level that corresponds to their current English ability, as determined by an English Placement Test and a course entry interview conducted before the course begins. Where a student is having difficulty at their assigned level, they may be placed at a different level where possible or provided with additional support.
Assessment in each level combines formative and summative tasks. Formative assessment includes mini-tests in Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 covering pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and functional language (both written and spoken). Summative assessment includes two tests — one in Week 5 and one in Week 10. Students must achieve a 50% pass mark in both summative tests to progress to the next level.
Classes are delivered face-to-face at two Rockdale campus locations: Level 3, 633 Princes Highway, Rockdale NSW 2216 and Level 1, 507 Princes Highway, Rockdale NSW 2216. Delivery is 20 hours of face-to-face instruction per week.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
