General English Levels 1 - 6

There are no specific educational prerequisites for entry into this course, as entry into this level is based on assessment of English language proficiency. All students will complete the Oxford Online Placement Test. The outcome on their scores for reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar will determine the level students should start at and the recommended duration. Alternatively, students can progress or enter based on a passing grade in the immediately preceding General English level. Other English language proficiency tests such as IELTS, Cambridge, PTE and TOEFL may be taken into consideration when placing students. Students must be at least 18 years of age.

Graduates of the General English Levels 1 - 6 course typically pursue roles in diverse industries that require strong English communication skills, such as hospitality, customer service, education, and administration. Proficiency in English can enhance opportunities for travel-related jobs and positions in multinational companies, as well as improve overall employability in English-speaking environments.
