Yes. The Graduate Certificate in Business caters for both professional and lifestyle commitments by giving students the choice to study on campus at Wollongong or Sydney CBD, or online. Students who select to study online can choose from two delivery modes: Distance delivery, which refers to learning activities that do not require you to attend campus but instead allow you to join pre-scheduled virtual classes; or Online delivery, which refers to virtual study at your own pace with academic support.
Entry requirements include: a recognised bachelor's or master's degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%; or a tertiary academic qualification with a duration of at least three years' full-time equivalent with an equivalent average mark of 50%; or three years' full-time equivalent managerial or professional work experience. The faculty will also consider applicants with seven years' full-time equivalent general work experience on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. Graduates can progress to a range of master's programs offered by Sydney Business School, UOW, and may be granted up to four subjects credit towards the master's degree.
The indicative course fee for a full-fee paying place is $16,753 for 2026 (with a session fee of $8,376). However, in 2026, domestic students may be eligible for either a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) or a UOW-subsidised fee reduction of up to 75% off the fees listed. Fees are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of your offer.
Students undertaking the program have access to a full suite of support services including: access to a dedicated course director; extensive online library resources, including business journals, electronic books and business databases; career and job-seeking assistance, including a specialist careers consultant who is accessible for up to two years after you graduate; and a student counsellor.
