Graduate Certificate in Business

The Graduate Certificate in Business gives you a solid foundation across the core business disciplines and the qualification needed to progress to postgraduate business study.
Your studies cover accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship and management, giving a broad perspective on the discipline. The four courses are Marketing; People, Leadership and Organisational Performance; Entrepreneurial Thinking; and Accounting for Decision Makers.
Across the certificate you develop critical thinking, learn to solve complex problems, work effectively in teams, make informed business decisions and sharpen your communication skills.
The curriculum is developed in partnership with industry and aligned with professional organisations, and you are taught by leaders in the field, applying your learning to real-world case studies and business environments while connecting with potential employers and senior business leaders.
The qualification is stackable with a range of Adelaide University graduate diplomas and master's degrees, so it can be used either to explore a new career or as the entry point to further postgraduate study. A flexible curriculum with the option of specialised electives is available.
The program is 24 units of core courses, taken full time over half a year at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
