You must provide a supporting statement from your employer on official letterhead or company email confirming that English is the language of business, the duration of employment, your roles and responsibilities, the nature of work, the scale of the organisation, and whether the company deals internationally. If you are the CEO of your own company, a statement from a business trader who deals directly with your company is required instead.

No, RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing. Additionally, for TOEFL iBT tests taken on or after 21 January 2026, the test must be the TOEFL iBT Australia test, and TOEFL iBT results reported on a 1–6 score scale are not accepted.

English language proficiency test results are valid for 2 years from the test date. Tests which fall outside of this validity period will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
