The structure of the GCBA is based on the first semester of the Leaders Institute Master of Business Administration (MBA), allowing graduates to fast-track into the second semester of the MBA. It also enables students to exit the GDBA or MBA, due to unforeseen personal or professional reasons, after the first semester with a fully accredited qualification.
For international students, the tuition fee per unit is AUD $3,125, with total course fees of AUD $12,500 and a non-refundable deposit of AUD $500. The total amount paid up front and prior to issue of Confirmation of Enrolment is AUD $12,500. For domestic students, the tuition fee per unit is AUD $2,500, with total course fees of AUD $10,000 and a one-time non-refundable application fee of AUD $500.
Yes. Professional entry is available for applicants with at least five years' relevant professional experience, including two years in a management position. Supporting documentation required includes a current CV, two signed work-related references, and a Statement of Intent. Applicants entering based on professional experience are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Program Director (or delegated representative).
The course structure is based on one semester (12 teaching weeks, plus one review week and one exam week). To qualify for the award of GCBA, a student shall accrue an aggregate of at least 40 credit points, including 30 credit points of core units and 10 credit points of electives, with satisfactory completion of the core units BC400 Communication and Media Management, EC401 Economics and Finance, and MK401 Marketing Innovation.
International students whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require an International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) score of 6.0, with a score of not less than 5.5 in any of the four skill areas, or equivalent.
