Applicants must submit a CV which outlines the significance of their work experience. Commonwealth supported place (CSP) A limited number of Commonwealth supported places (CSP) are available in this course. The minimum GPA to be considered for a CSP is 2.7 out of 4.0. To be considered for a CSP you must apply for the CSP offering through the RMIT Application System. Students currently enrolled in this course in a full-fee place may apply to transfer to a CSP upon completing 48 credit points (not including credit transfer), subject to meeting minimum GPA requirement in full-fee course. Yes. For postgraduate coursework entry, you can demonstrate at least 2 years of professional work experience in an occupation requiring English language proficiency. You must also provide a supporting statement from your employer on official letterhead or company email confirming that English is the language of business, your duration of employment, roles and responsibilities, nature of work, scale of the organisation, and whether the company deals internationally.
No. RMIT does not accept IELTS (General) for admission into its university programs. Only IELTS (Academic) or IELTS (Academic) One Skill Retake are accepted.
For entry to postgraduate coursework degrees, you need a study score of at least 30 in Units 3 & 4 English as an Additional Language (EAL), or at least 25 in Units 3 & 4 English, Literature or English Language under the VCE pathway.
English language proficiency test results are valid for 2 years from the test date. Tests that fall outside this validity period will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. RMIT also does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing.
