Common Questions
The qualification does not involve a mandatory Work Placement. However, some units require the assessment of skills demonstrated in the workplace with additional simulations as required. During your course you will be required to complete assessments that demonstrate your skills in the workplace, and you may be required to work shifts determined by your placement/workplace provider, which can include early mornings or late nights, any day of the week, including public holidays.
The course has a $13,000 tuition fee plus a $500 material fee. You can pay in full or by an interest-free monthly payment plan, and payments can be made by Cash, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard.
Assessments are competency based, which means that you have to demonstrate that you are able to meet the performance criteria for each unit. Assessment methods will vary including: Questions & Answers, projects, role plays, presentations, portfolios, and observation. Assessments will be completed in and outside of class time, and you should allow approximately 5-10 hours per week for self-study and out of class assessments.
SGSCC provides academic support, pastoral care/student support, language literacy and numeracy support, and career guidance. The college also offers accessibility services for students with special needs or disability, making reasonable adjustments such as using adaptive technology, providing dedicated educational assistance, and exploring alternative assessment methods.
The course is currently taking expressions of interest with monthly intakes. You can contact the enrolments team on 02 8543 7412 during business hours, or visit the Jannali Office Reception (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm) to make an enquiry or enrol.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
