Yes. For postgraduate coursework entry, RMIT accepts demonstrated professional work experience of at least 2 years in an occupation requiring English language proficiency. Applicants must provide a supporting statement from their employer on official letterhead or company email confirming that English is the language of business, the duration of employment, roles and responsibilities, nature of work, scale of the organisation, and whether the company deals internationally.
Yes. RMIT is running a 2026 pilot that allows local (domestic) applicants to meet minimum English language requirements through approved English language proficiency tests including IELTS (Academic), TOEFL iBT, PTE (Academic), C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency. Note that IELTS (General) is not accepted, and RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing. Tests must be valid within 2 years from the test date.
Yes. For postgraduate coursework entry, RMIT accepts satisfactory completion of 2 undergraduate level courses equivalent to at least 24 RMIT University credit points, or satisfactory completion of an AQF accredited award at certificate IV or above (or equivalent), as evidence of meeting English language requirements, provided the teaching and assessment was entirely in English.
