You will develop a critical understanding of the aesthetics and politics of computer games and mobile media, production and circulation of knowledge in the digital era, diverse meanings and operations of networks, the activity of digital media audiences, and diverse forms of regulation of the internet.
You will study a minimum of 12 credit points of core units of study (you can take additional core units) and a maximum of 12 credit points from elective units of study. Elective units may be chosen based on selected and recommended pathways from Arts and Social Sciences, Sydney College of the Arts, Interactive Design and Electronic Arts, and Information Technologies.
Domestic applications open on 15 March of the preceding year. Applications close on 31 January of the commencing year for Semester 1 and 15 July of the commencing year for Semester 2.
International applications open on 15 March of the preceding year. Applications close on 31 October of the preceding year for Semester 1 and 29 May 2026 for Semester 2.
