Relevant professional experience does not include periods of Practicum or Work Placement (Work Integrated Learning) undertaken when training to become a teacher.
\nThe following additional entry requirements apply to those students who wish to study the Educational Research specialisation (i.e., EDSTCT) in the Graduate Certificate in Education:

The Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership at UNSW has a duration of 0.7 years. It is a short and flexible degree designed to fit around professional commitments, with intakes available in Term 1, Term 2, and Term 3.
For 2026, the indicative first year full fee is $23,500 for international students, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $24,000. For domestic students, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are available, with an indicative CSP first year fee of $2,500 and an indicative CSP fee to complete the degree of $2,500. Full fee domestic places have an indicative first year fee of $16,500 and a fee to complete the degree of $16,500. All fees are subject to annual review.
