Yes, the course caters for both full-time and part-time students. The standard duration is 6 months full-time, or equivalent part-time study.
Midyear intake is not available for this course. Please refer to the available intakes listed for Semester 1 and Semester 2 in 2026 and 2027.
The 2026 domestic fee-paying postgraduate cost is $12,235, based on a first-year full-time study load of 100 credits. The total cost will depend on your course options (i.e. units selected and time taken to complete). Domestic fee-paying students may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.
Yes. When you successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Environment and Climate Emergency, you may transfer to the graduate diploma and then subsequently enrol in the master degree.
Students will become familiar with real-world practices through lectures and workshops delivered by consultants from industry and government. They will also learn practical skills in social research, analysis and broad stakeholder engagement. At the Legacy Living Laboratory (L3) – a state-of-the-art data visualisation space and research facility – students will expand their knowledge and build capabilities to contribute solutions to biodiversity loss, extreme climatic events and other issues affecting communities globally.
