Yes. Upon successful completion of at least two subjects in the Graduate Certificate of Event Management, students may be eligible to articulate into the second trimester of selected ICMS master's degrees such as the Master of Event Management (excluding the MBA and MBA specialisations). For entry into the Master of Business Administration and its specialisations, work experience is also required.
The full-time duration is 2 x Trimesters. An accelerated option is also available, which can be completed in 1 x Trimester.
Upon completion, graduates will be able to: apply complex theoretical concepts and technical know-how in the event industry; develop innovative, evidence-based solutions to event management problems; communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders using advanced oral and written communication skills; and analyse and assess the impacts, trends, and issues in event management with a critical perspective.
In accordance with the Australian Government ESOS National Code, international students on a Student Visa can only undertake 33% of their total enrolment load online. They must be enrolled in at least one on-campus subject in each compulsory study period.
The Graduate Certificate in Event Management is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a CRICOS Course Code of 097378G and a UAC Course Code of 900161.
