Yes. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology, students may progress into a Master of Financial Technology and be eligible for credit for the four subjects completed within the graduate certificate. Progression into other master's programs, including the Master of Applied Finance, may also be possible.
Throughout this degree, you will learn to consider the impact of technology on banking and global payment systems, the insurance industry and trading in financial markets. You will also explore how blockchain technology facilitates more transparent, efficient and secure transactions by examining digital currencies, smart contracts, tokenisation of assets and decentralised finance.
If you do not hold a recognised bachelor's or master's degree, you may be considered if you have a tertiary qualification with a duration of at least 3 years full-time equivalent plus 3 years full-time equivalent managerial or professional work experience. Applicants with 5 years full-time equivalent managerial or professional work experience in finance will also be considered.
