Common Questions
The Graduate Certificate in Global Public Health can be completed in under six months, making it a fast pathway to a recognised postgraduate qualification.
Yes, upon completion of the Graduate Certificate, graduates will be eligible for admission to the Master of Global Public Health with credit granted for completed units, allowing you to build on your qualification and aim for higher roles.
Applicants need to have completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline. Applicants without an undergraduate qualification may be admitted based on approved work experience. Meeting the minimum admission criteria does not guarantee entry, as past academic performance may also be considered.
The course is a full-fee course (not government subsidised), with indicative fees of AU$17,250 per year for a full-time student. In addition to tuition fees, students will need to pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). Scholarships are available to help support eligible students.
The course is delivered using the VU Block Model®, where students undertake one, or at most two, units at a time before moving on to the next. It combines in-person intensive workshops with the flexibility of online self-paced learning.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
