Yes. This fee-paying course can be undertaken part-time commencing in Semester 1, or full time commencing in Semester 2. It is available both on campus and online at the Curtin Perth campus. Note that international students can only commence in Semester 2 on a full time basis.
The indicative first-year fee for Australian and New Zealand students in 2026 is $8,700. This is calculated on 100 credit points, which is the typical full-time study load, and is a guide only. It may vary depending on the units you choose and does not include incidental fees or the cost of textbooks.
The course is relevant when dealing with issues concerning cultural management. It is particularly suited to industries that involve working with Indigenous communities such as mining, education or health, where a well-rounded understanding of cultural and community protocols will be considered favourably by employers.
You will learn to work in culturally appropriate ways and apply cultural protocols and Indigenous cultural competencies; critically analyse issues of cultural significance; select, evaluate and integrate information inclusive of Indigenous perspectives; implement best practice when communicating with Indigenous people; contextualise local, national and international pan-Indigenous issues; understand the complexity and diversity of Australian Indigenous cultures; and work collaboratively and ethically with Indigenous people recognising Indigenous organisational structures.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
