Applications are made directly to VU. You can click the 'Apply Now' button on the VU homepage, select the relevant applicant type (Domestic or International), log in with your VU account credentials, and complete the application process including any further information requests.
Yes, you can apply for credit for any relevant units you have completed in your current or previous courses. To apply, you will need to supply academic transcripts and unit descriptions. Any documents in another language will need to be translated and certified. Credit is automatically applied for any units completed at Victoria University.
Yes, domestic students in postgraduate certificates can defer studying for work, travel or personal reasons for up to 12 months, as long as they apply before enrolling. You can apply for a deferral when accepting your offer to study via the 'MyVU' system, choosing to defer for a period of 6 or 12 months.
Thanks to the VU Block Model, where you study subjects in four-week 'blocks', there are five opportunities across the year to start your course, so you don't have to wait until next year or even midyear to begin studying.
