On completion of the GCM, students will have completed one quarter of the required study for the AIHE MBA, so will be well placed to continue their studies in that qualification or in a variety of other business-related Masters's programs.
The tuition fee for domestic students is $8,400 per Study Period, and for international students it is $14,438 per Study Period. AIHE also provides a range of scholarships to students each year.
The Graduate Certificate in Management consists of 1 Core Subject (BUS9001 Strategic & Critical Thinking in Business) and 3 Elective Subjects, totalling 20 credit points with 5 points per subject. It is an AQF Level 8 qualification.
Yes. Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be eligible if they hold an Australian Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (or equivalent AQF level 6 qualification) plus 2 years' of industry experience at supervisory level, or if they have at least five years' industry experience which includes at least three years' management/supervisorial experience.
The GCM uses seminars, lectures, group activities, case studies and practical support sessions. Assessment includes, but is not limited to, group and individual assignments, exams and tests, role plays and participation, quizzes and presentations. Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are also available on application.
