Yes. Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Mining Engineering, you may be eligible to articulate into the Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering and then to a Master of Mining Engineering.
There are two entry pathways: Entry 1 is for those with relevant mining industry experience and vocational training, requiring a minimum of 4 years of full-time relevant professional and/or responsibility in the mining industry; Entry 2 is for those with a degree in other technical disciplines (such as Surveying, Accounting, Business, Economics, IT/Systems, Biology or Pharmacy) from a recognised institution, with a minimum of 1 year relevant industry experience required for applicants with a 3-year degree.
The Graduate Certificate in Mining Engineering is made up of 24 units of credit, consisting of four core courses that can be studied in a full-time or part-time load. The program duration is 0.7 years, with intakes commencing in Term 1 and Term 3.
The 2026 indicative first year full fee for domestic students is $22,500, and the 2026 indicative full fee to complete the degree is also $22,500. Fees are subject to annual review and are a guide only.
