The Graduate Certificate in Ministry consists of 4 units. Students may choose any 4 of the 8 units that comprise the Graduate Diploma in Ministry, with a maximum of 2 units in any one field.
The course is designed for Christian professionals who view their vocation as a form of ministry and want to integrate their faith more deeply into their work — whether they are seeking to strengthen their biblical and theological foundation, explore a call to ministry, or transition into a new vocational direction.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree in a field other than Ministry to be eligible for admission. Applicants with recent secondary education, VET study, or work and life experience alone are not eligible for this postgraduate course.
Yes, students can choose any 4 units from the pool of 8 units that make up the Graduate Diploma in Ministry, but no more than 2 units may be selected from any one field. Students are advised to consult the Ministries Courses Guide for course rules, requirements, and unit prerequisite information.
Graduates are prepared for a wide range of ministry and leadership roles, including youth ministry, children's ministry, creative ministry, media team ministry, small groups ministry, pastoring, education, and counselling, equipped both theologically and practically to lead with integrity and vision.
