Yes, for postgraduate coursework entry at RMIT, you can demonstrate at least 2 years of professional work experience in an occupation requiring English language proficiency. You must provide a supporting statement from your employer on official letterhead or company email confirming that English is the language of business, your duration of employment, roles and responsibilities, nature of work, scale of the organisation, and whether the company deals internationally.
RMIT accepts the following English language proficiency tests for postgraduate entry: IELTS (Academic) or IELTS (Academic) One Skill Retake (minimum 6.5, no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT (minimum overall score of 79), Pearson Test of English Academic – PTE (A) (minimum 58, no communication band less than 50), C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced), and C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency) with a minimum of 176 and no less than 169 in any component. Note that IELTS (General) is not accepted.
