The course is available as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) for eligible students. The indicative fee for a full-time student in 2026 is AU$4,768 per year. This is a guide only based on a typical full-time study load and does not include materials such as textbooks or the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). HELP loans may be available to eligible students.
Yes, this course is specifically listed in the Building Regulations 2006 (S.R. No. 68/2006) - Regulation 113 as one of the prerequisites for a Relevant Building Surveyor (RBS) to determine that an alternative solution complies with a fire performance requirement of the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Staff and associates include industry-expert professors from partners CSIRO, Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Victorian Building Authority and consulting engineering firms including Umow Lai, Noel Arnolds and Associates, SKIP consulting, Scientific Fire Services and many more.
Yes, if you have completed study with another university or institution you may be eligible to receive credit for skills and past study. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
