Yes. Under the Professional Entry pathway, applicants with a demonstrated minimum of five years of relevant policing experience may apply for entry to this course, subject to approval by the Program Director. Applicants must submit a copy of their CV with a cover letter outlining how they meet the criteria, or equivalent.
Graduates will be able to: demonstrate advanced theoretical and technical knowledge of police leadership scholarship and practice as it relates to cybersecurity; apply advanced and coherent communication skills to guide, lead, and mentor others; critically appraise contemporary police leadership literature related to cybersecurity; critically reflect upon, synthesise, and evaluate data that informs decision-making; and utilise effective interpersonal and professional skills for autonomous, ethical conduct in police leadership as it relates to cybersecurity.
The course is available via on campus, online, and hybrid modes, delivered from the campus at 1009 Ipswich Road, Moorooka, Brisbane Queensland 4105, Australia. Intakes are available in Semester 1, Semester 2, and Summer Semester.
