Common Questions
Yes. The GCPA has been designed as a stand-alone accounting qualification or a PATHWAY to the MPA and accreditation with all the major professional bodies. The subjects have been aligned with the first four subjects of the MPAA program, and students have the option to either continue on to the MPAA or graduate with the GCPA after completing the four subjects.
The Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting is delivered over 16 weeks, comprising two academic blocks and four specialised units.
The GCPA has six intake periods per year: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
The GCPA comprises four units: Accounting Principles (MPA501), Business and Company Law (MPA502), Economics for Business (MPA503), and Business Finance (MPA504), each worth 6 credit points, totalling 24 credit points.
The application process involves four steps: first, gather all necessary documents as per TIIS entry requirements; second, complete the application forms and send them to TIIS via email; third, if you meet the requirements, TIIS will issue a Letter of Offer; and fourth, secure your place by paying your tuition fees, upon which you will receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
