The Graduate Certificate in Research is an exit only course for the Doctor of Business Administration. As such, there are no separate admission requirements — it is available to students who are exiting the Doctor of Business Administration after completing one semester, due to unforeseen personal or professional reasons.
The course is structured based on one semester, which consists of 12 teaching weeks, plus one review week and one study week, for a total duration of 0.5 years.
The course comprises four core research units: RS701 Business Research Fundamentals, RS702 Literature Review for Publication, RS703 Advanced Business Research Methods, and RS704 Research Proposal and Seminar, totalling 40 credit points.
Student fees are A$12,000 per semester for domestic students and A$15,000 per semester for international students.
Upon completion, graduates will be able to demonstrate understanding of key concepts and theories related to business research, select and apply research methodologies to solve business problems, integrate ethical decision making in business research, and communicate research outcomes as a business leader to diverse audiences.
