Common Questions
It depends on your chosen specialisation. If you choose the public health or a generalist 'no speciality' pathway, all units of study will be completely online. If you choose HIV and STIs or psychosexual therapy and reproductive health and fertility, these specialisations are also mostly online, however they do require a 2 week intensive face-to-face session on campus. Distance Education students will also be required to attend exams and compulsory face-to-face teaching sessions in Sydney for some units of study.
You will need to complete 24 credit points, including four core units of study.
You can complete a generalist sexual health degree or choose your elective units from within one of four specialisations. The page references public health, a generalist 'no speciality' pathway, HIV and STIs, and psychosexual therapy and reproductive health and fertility as the available options.
The closing date for Semester 1 intake is 31 January of the commencing year, and the closing date for Semester 2 intake is 15 July of the commencing year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarships.
This program is directed by Dr Chris Fox and Associate Professor Iryna Zablotska-Manos.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
