Graduate Certificate in Technology Practice (Standard)

The Graduate Certificate in Technology Practice (Summer intake) gives you the confidence, knowledge and skills to take your professional qualifications to the next level, over a 6-month (1 block + 1 trimester) format starting with a Block 1 intake in December. Taught using UTS College's Learning.Connected model, you'll learn to manage the development and implementation of technology solutions, construct a research report demonstrating critical thinking and synthesis of information, and work on real-world design challenges using a design-thinking framework, alongside developing a full industry project proposal and academic communication skills. Entry requirements vary by target master's degree (a relevant AQF6 qualification or 4-year bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT) and require IELTS 6.0 overall (6.0 in writing) or equivalent; students needing extra English support complete an English for Postgraduate Studies subject in Block 1. On successful completion with no more than 25% recorded fails (GPA 4.0/7.0 for Data Science and Innovation), you receive 24 credit points as Recognition of Prior Learning and guaranteed entry into the Master of Engineering (Extension), Master of Professional Engineering, Master of Information Technology, Master of Information Technology (Extension), or Master of Data Science and Innovation - all offered by the UTS Faculty of Engineering and IT. Delivered full-time and face-to-face at UTS College's campus, for international students.
