Graduate Certificate in Wine and Food Business

The Graduate Certificate in Wine and Food Business teaches the business behind two enduring industries, and how they intersect. It is based in South Australia, home to leading wine and food producers.
The program explores marketing from several vantage points, from the local scene to the global stage. You learn to analyse product performance and make impactful business decisions, and develop practical skills for responding to market shifts and answering direct consumer needs. Branding, tourism and entrepreneurship are covered throughout.
Core courses include Marketing for Wine and Food Business, and you investigate broad domestic and international market forces alongside more intimate strategies for marketing directly to consumers. The certificate also examines the appeal of Australian products against international alternatives, and global distribution.
You meet local industry leaders for first-hand guidance and networking, and study in facilities including the Waite Research Institute.
The program is 24 units — 18 units of core courses and 6 units of electives — taken full time over half a year at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
