Graduate Certificate of Business

Yes. Upon successful completion of at least two subjects in the Graduate Certificate of Business, students may be eligible to articulate into the second trimester of selected ICMS master's degrees (excluding the MBA and MBA specialisations). Students aiming to articulate into a master's degree should check the relevant Master's degree entry requirements.

The full-time duration is 2 x Trimesters. Australian and New Zealand students may wish to accelerate their studies and complete this course in one trimester.

The Graduate Certificate of Business is available on-campus and online. However, in accordance with the Australian Government ESOS National Code, international students on a Student Visa can only undertake 33% of their total enrolment load online and must be enrolled in at least one on-campus subject in each compulsory study period.

The course comprises 4 core subjects at Level 600 across two trimesters: Accounting for Business Decisions, Contemporary Marketing, Economics and Finance for Business, and Managing in the Global Context.

Upon completion, graduates will be able to: demonstrate advanced knowledge of essential management concepts and contemporary practices; evaluate diverse social, economic, political, technological, legal, ethical, environmental and cultural factors impacting organisations; communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders using advanced oral and written communication skills; and synthesise data to develop evidence-based, innovative and sustainable solutions for business challenges.
