About This Course

The Graduate Certificate of Business Administration provides a foundation in leadership, marketing and business management, teaching students to make effective decisions in a global context. The course helps develop business acumen and leadership ability that students can apply immediately in their current workplace or a new entrepreneurial venture, and comprises four core subjects: Business Environment, Business Communications, Marketing, and Financial Management. Learning outcomes include developing an understanding of advanced business principles and their practical use, determining business solutions and systematically evaluating risk, mastering industry-standard software to analyse data for informed decision-making, and interpreting complex issues to communicate effectively with a broader audience. Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Domestic students:

Undergraduate degree from Australian university or equivalent OR
Applicants without formal qualifications are eligible to apply if they have seven (7) years relevant work experience; assessed on a case-by-case basis, subject to Admissions staff approval (Domestic only), requiring: minimum age of 25 years, and achievement of at least 85% on the Readiness Assessment Tool indicating sufficient literacy skills to engage in postgraduate coursework

International students:

Australian bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent
Academic IELTS 6.0 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent OR
Alternative entry requirement may be available
