The annual international tuition fee is $13,000 (or $3,250 per unit) for campus locations including Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. Tuition fees are in Australian dollars and are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of a course. In addition, students are required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance.
For domestic students, the course is available at Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney (Term 1, Term 3, Term 5) and Online (Term 3, Term 5). For international students, campus locations are Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney (Term 1, Term 3, Term 5), with no online option available.
Students must successfully complete the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points) comprising 3 core units (36 credit points) — Advanced Communication (COMM5001), Hotels in Context (HOTL5001), and The Global Hotel Leader (HOTL5002) — and 1 option unit (12 credit points) chosen from Service Design and Management (HOTL6016) or Creating the Hotel Customer (HOTL6002).
The Southern Cross Model engages students in shorter, six-week unit structures designed around immersive and interactive learning experiences. The shorter unit structure gives students a greater sense of momentum as they achieve milestones quickly, resulting in increased student success rates, and course and teacher satisfaction. Lectures are a thing of the past — students will be engaged in active, interactive and discussion-based learning.
