Yes. Upon successful completion of at least two subjects in the Graduate Certificate of Business (Tourism and Hospitality Marketing), students may be eligible to enter (articulate) into the second trimester of selected ICMS master's degrees (excluding the MBA and MBA specialisations). For entry into the Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics), Master of Business Administration (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and Master of Business Administration (Digital Transformation), work experience is also required. Students aiming to articulate into a Master's degree should check the relevant Master's degree entry requirements.
The full-time duration is 2 x Trimesters. However, Australian and New Zealand students may wish to accelerate their studies and complete this course in one trimester.
The course structure comprises 4 core subjects at Level 600 across two trimesters: Accounting for Business Decisions, Communication and Media Management, Managing in the Global Context, and Tourism and Hospitality Marketing. Students are required to undertake two business specific subjects and two marketing subjects – one in contemporary marketing and one in tourism and hospitality-specific marketing.
In accordance with the Australian Government ESOS National Code, international students on a Student Visa can only undertake 33% of their total enrolment load online. They must be enrolled in at least one on-campus subject in each compulsory study period.
The Graduate Certificate of Business (Tourism and Hospitality Marketing) is an AQF Level 8 qualification with CRICOS Course Code 103143F and UAC Course Codes 900180 & 900181. It is offered at the City Campus, Sydney, and online, with FEE-HELP (DFEE) available.
