The Graduate Certificate of Creative Arts allows you to hone your creative practice alongside students from six creative arts disciplines: visual arts, photography, animation and motion capture, visual communication design, dance and theatre.
Yes, there are opportunities for further study upon successful completion of the course. If you want to continue building your creative expertise, you can articulate into Deakin's Master of Creative Arts.
To be considered for admission you will need to have completed a bachelor degree, or have at least two years' relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent) in areas such as design, photography, performing arts, or production. You must also meet English language proficiency requirements, such as an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6.0) or equivalent, or a bachelor degree from a recognised English-speaking country.
The estimated tuition fee for a full-fee paying place is $12,300, which represents the typical tuition fees for students completing the course within the same year they started. You may be eligible for a Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) loan, including FEE-HELP or HECS-HELP, depending on your course, type of fee place, and citizenship or residency status.
Students can get hands-on in professional standard facilities, including TV broadcast studios, dance and theatre studios, a professional photographic light studio, visual arts and design studios, and dedicated gallery spaces.
