Graduate Diploma in Agriculture and Food Security

In the Master of Science (Agriculture and Food Security), you can choose to major in either Agricultural Systems or Food Security. In your first year you will choose your major, and in your second year you will undertake a research project relating to that major.

You must meet Curtin's English language requirements, which include an IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components: Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening. Other accepted English tests and qualifications may also be considered.

The 2026 domestic indicative first-year fee for this course is $29,748, based on a full-time study load of 200 credit points. This is a domestic fee-paying (DFP) place, meaning it is not Commonwealth supported. Domestic fee-paying students may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance for all or part of their tuition fees.

The course is offered in Semester 1 and Semester 2 each year at Curtin Perth. For the 2026 academic year, Semester 2 applications close 5 July 2026, and Semester 1 2027 applications close 28 January 2027. You apply directly to Curtin via their online applications portal.
