No, you do not need a law degree. However, students without a law degree must also complete the unit of study, Legal Reasoning & the Common Law System, in addition to their elective units.
Units are delivered in weekly evening classes during semester and, throughout the year, on an intensive basis over four or five days. Intensive units are especially popular and provide an excellent opportunity to experience teaching by international visitors.
For domestic applicants, the closing date is 31 January of the commencing year for Semester 1 and 15 July of the commencing year for Semester 2. For international applicants, the closing date is 31 July of the year prior to commencement for Semester 1 and 31 March of the commencing year for Semester 2.
You can undertake rigorous and challenging specialist units relevant to domestic and international tax, commercial contracts, banking and finance, insolvency, trusts, secured transactions, investment arbitration, competition law, and international transactions, with over 70 units of study available.
