To be considered for admission, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification recognised by UWA, a weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent, successfully completed prior tertiary study in an accounting major, and hold or be eligible for a Chartered Accountants ANZ Provisional Membership. International applicants must also meet English language requirements, with a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.
The course comprises eight units. UWA units include Accounting Information Systems and Contemporary Issues in Accounting. The CA Program units include Ethics, Risk and Technology, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Business Performance, Taxation, Auditing, and Integrated Chartered Accounting Practice (ICAP). All units except ICAP are delivered face-to-face in the UWA Business School by experienced UWA academics in partnership with CA ANZ. The ICAP is delivered exclusively by CA ANZ.
This course satisfies the accreditation requirements of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and CPA Australia. Graduates are eligible to join as a Chartered Accountant subject to completing three years of Mentored Practical Experience, and are also eligible to join as Associate members of CPA Australia.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
