The Graduate Diploma in Cultural Leadership consists of eight courses drawn from the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership. It provides a grounding in contemporary art and curating, pragmatic understanding of the art world, and key research skills — and can serve as a pathway toward the full master's degree.
For 2026, the indicative first-year full fee is $48,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $49,500 for international students. For domestic students, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available, with an indicative CSP first-year fee of $12,500 and an indicative CSP fee to complete the degree of $12,500. A limited number of CSPs are available and awarded on academic merit. Full-fee domestic students pay an indicative first-year fee of $39,000 and an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $39,000.
Yes. The program is available via face-to-face (including blended) delivery at the Paddington campus, as well as online. Domestic students have the option to study this degree fully online.
You will choose this program if you aim to specialise in audience engagement and development, exhibition design, or strategic management of cultural organisations. Elective courses allow further focus in areas such as world biennales, visual and museum cultures of the Asia Pacific, conservation and registration, and curatorial studio practice.
