Common Questions
The Graduate Diploma in Cybersecurity is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) at Level 8 and comprises 48 credit points in total.
The Graduate Diploma in Cybersecurity embeds a collaborative and technology-enabled active learning approach. The typical weekly process begins with students speculating about a problem or scenario before the scheduled on-campus class, then actively engaging with the class and reflecting on the same problem or scenario. Classes are interactive, with regular anonymous polls and multiple-choice questions to encourage active participation. Following the class, students document their problem-solving process in an online portfolio or journal. Authentic, experiential learning activities such as computer laboratory classes, building a secure network, risk assessments, or team-based projects are also used.
International applicants must meet minimum English language proficiency requirements, including: IELTS 6.5 overall with no individual band below 6.0; TOEFL internet-based test 79 overall (with sub-scores of Reading 19, Writing 24, Speaking 20, Listening 20); C1 Advanced / Cambridge English: Advanced 176 overall with no band less than 169; PTE Academic 56 overall with no communicative skill less than 50; or Kaplan International Tools for English 459 overall. Test scores must be less than two years old on the date the course commences.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
