For domestic students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $45,000 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $68,500. You will study subjects including Food Products and Ingredients Technology, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Food Properties and Functions Laboratory, Food Processing Principles, Nutrition, Advanced Food Engineering, Food Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering, and Advanced Food and Health.

The program takes 1.7 years to complete full time or 3.3 years part time. Students with a prior undergraduate degree in a directly cognate discipline (such as Food Science) may be eligible for the standard 1 year program.
