Yes, the Graduate Diploma in Genomics and Health serves as a pathway to the Master of Genomics and Health. You can further develop your genomics expertise by completing an additional year (100 credit points) of study with the Master of Genomics and Health.
This program is designed for a diverse range of individuals, including medical or allied health professionals looking to enhance their expertise, recent science or biomedicine graduates exploring broader career paths, or someone with a health/science background interested in areas like clinical trials, education, community, or government organisations.
The program adopts a blended learning approach, utilising both self-paced online learning, and face-to-face tutorials and workshops that allow you to apply your knowledge in a problem-based learning environment.
The 2026 indicative first year fee is AUD $25,984. Please note that Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are not available for this course.
The program is based on campus in Parkville and is led by research and education leaders within the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct. You'll learn from the expertise found within the Royal Children's Hospital, the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics.
