Yes. The graduate diploma provides an articulation pathway into the Master of Health Leadership and Management. You can elect to further your studies by adding an extension to gain research experience through additional research methodology courses and/or an advanced research project, which may make you eligible to apply to pursue a PhD. You can also combine your master's degree with public health, global health or infectious diseases intelligence through dual or dual extension options.
The Graduate Diploma in Health Leadership and Management can be completed in one year of full-time study or approximately 1.7 years part-time. The program consists of six courses in total — three core courses and three elective courses.
For domestic students, the 2026 indicative Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) first year fee is $7,000 and the CSP fee to complete the degree is $7,000. The 2026 indicative full fee for domestic students is $29,500 for the first year and $29,500 to complete the degree. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $45,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $46,500. Fees are subject to annual review and may vary.
