The program develops core competencies in the documentation and assessment of culturally significant places (including buildings, sites and cultural landscapes), the formulation of policy for culturally significant places and their effective management, and an understanding of the legal frameworks, policy positions and professional methods that govern heritage conservation practice.
The closing date for Semester 1 entry is 31 January of the commencing year, and the closing date for Semester 2 entry is 15 July of the commencing year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Yes, the course is available to both domestic and international students. Domestic students include Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian Permanent resident visa holders, Australian Permanent humanitarian visa holders, and Pacific Engagement Visa holders. International students are those who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia, or do not hold a Pacific Engagement Visa.
