Selective units of study – Human Rights stream (3 units, 18 credit points)

The Human Rights stream covers international and regional human rights systems, the roots of human rights violations, and explores the political, social, legal, and cultural contexts of human rights challenges in Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and globally, drawing on principles from many disciplines and geographically diverse case studies.
Students complete 3 units (18 credit points) of core units of study, 3 units (18 credit points) from selective units of study in the Human Rights stream, and 2 units (12 credit points) from elective units of study, totalling 8 units and 48 credit points.
The closing date for Semester 1 entry is 31 January of the commencing year, and for Semester 2 entry it is 15 July of the commencing year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
