Yes. The Faculty of Engineering and IT offers programs and scholarships that connect classroom learning with industry placements, internships and employment opportunities. Senior year students in the Bachelor of Information Technology also have the opportunity to work on industry projects through the Software Development Studio, where they learn with real industrial tools and receive mentorship from industry professionals. UTS also has partnerships spanning more than 1,000 companies.
Graduates are eligible to apply for professional-level membership of the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Students can also apply for student membership with the Australian Computer Society (ACS) while studying.
