Yes. For postgraduate coursework degrees at RMIT, a VCE study score of at least 30 in Units 3 & 4 English as an Additional Language (EAL), or at least 25 in Units 3 & 4 English, Literature or English Language, will satisfy the minimum English language requirement.
No. RMIT does not accept IELTS (General) for admission into university programs. Only IELTS (Academic) or IELTS (Academic) One Skill Retake is accepted, with a minimum overall band of 6.5 and no band less than 6.0 for postgraduate coursework entry.
Applicants can satisfy the English language requirement through post-secondary study by completing 2 undergraduate level courses equivalent to at least 24 RMIT University credit points, or by satisfactorily completing an AQF accredited award at certificate IV or above (or equivalent).
