The indicative first year fee for 2026 is AUD $32,992. Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are not available for this course.
The course takes 1 year to complete full time, or 2 years if studying part time.
The course has two intake periods: March and July.
The course develops high-level oral and written communication skills backed up by expertise in researching, writing and editing your own work, as well as an advanced and practical understanding of how news stories are put together and the ability to critically reflect on the challenges media professionals face in journalism.
