Graduate Diploma in Management

The Graduate Diploma in Management is a one-year qualification teaching the essential business knowledge and managerial skills needed to lead diverse organisations and make strategic decisions.
You build cross-disciplinary knowledge in marketing, entrepreneurship and accounting while sharpening your analytical and communication skills, and learn how to manage people and organisations effectively.
The program asks you to consider how attitudes, personality, values and motivation affect employee performance, and builds skills in entrepreneurship and change management. You cover basic accounting concepts including the accounting cycle and financial statements, the critical value of marketing to any business, and how to manage global workforces.
Decision-making, communication and leadership are developed throughout, guided by leading academics and professional staff, in advanced and future-oriented management courses.
An elective course lets you shape the diploma to your interests, and you gain practical experience through an industry project.
The program is 48 units — 42 units of core courses and 6 units of electives — taken full time over one year at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes. It leaves you with a transferable skillset applicable across organisations.
