The Graduate Diploma in Mental Health qualification requires the completion of 8 subjects, for a total of 48 credit points. The course can be completed within two semesters of full-time study or three or more semesters of part-time study.
Yes, a Mental Health Nurse Specialisation is available for registered nurses and is accredited by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN). Graduates of this pathway receive formal transcript notation in Mental Health Nursing (Non-Clinical), supporting professional recognition and career development. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required at the time of application.
Tuition fees are $23,800 for domestic students and $28,800 for international students. FEE-HELP is available to eligible Australian citizens. Tuition fees, non-tuition fees, and refunds are governed by NTI's Fees, Charges and Refunds Policy.
Yes, graduates may exit with the Graduate Diploma or progress seamlessly into the Master of Mental Health. For those completing the Nurse Specialisation, they may also progress into the Master of Mental Health (Nurse Specialisation – Non-Clinical) for further advanced study and career progression.
