Common Questions
Yes, graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Occupation and Health are well-placed to progress to further studies via Bond's Master of Occupational Therapy, receiving full credit for the subjects studied in this program.
The program is delivered primarily at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport, located approximately four kilometres from Bond's main campus on the Gold Coast, which also houses physiotherapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, as well as exercise and sports science programs.
This program is designed for graduates with ambitions to enter postgraduate medical programs, or for those with existing occupational therapy qualifications requiring professional updates before applying for Australian qualification recognition or re-entering the workforce. It builds on undergraduate studies in health and related sciences.
These studies prepare graduates to work in rehabilitation, aged care, and disability services in roles such as allied health assistant, aged care assistant, or disability support worker.
During the course of the graduate diploma, you will learn the foundations of human occupation and complete a range of subjects from neuroscience, environments, work, play, multidisciplinary care, evidence-based practice, and enabling independence.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
