Graduate Diploma in Project Management

The Graduate Diploma in Project Management equips you with practical skills to support and lead projects across a range of scales and complexities, in an environment where projects increasingly demand professionals who can manage risk, balance competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
You begin by establishing a strong foundation in project management, covering advanced theoretical and technical principles, risk management, leadership models, ethics and sustainability. From there a flexible curriculum lets you tailor the diploma to your career goals, including deepening your expertise in areas such as portfolio and program management.
The program develops your ability to manage the key aspects of projects across varying scale and complexity, preparing you to support organisational transformation, portfolio and program delivery, and complex project design, and to define project goals, assess risks, manage budgets and support change.
Teaching is by experienced industry professionals and leading academics, in a degree designed to reflect industry demand, with elective courses and career-focused options built in.
The program is 48 units — 36 units of core courses and 12 units of electives — taken full time over one year, on campus at Adelaide City or online, with February and July intakes.
